Barge

Neighbouring yet contrasting artworks visible by taking a stroll over White Millennium Bridge.

The riverside’s resident barge is brought to life with the artists’ love of colour and complementary styles.

Look closely to spot a grey heron taking flight nearby, semi-submerged in the river and designed to be seen as the water level rises and falls. Another city centre piece by Peter Barber, delivered by Yorkshire Design Group and Canal Connections CIC, and part-funded by the Waterfront Enhancement Fund.
